Felix's Flame
Felix’s Flame began with Felix, my son, and the experience of losing him. What began as a way of remembering him has grown into a community advocacy project centred on baby loss, maternity care, practical support and change.
everything started with felix
Felix was stillborn on Christmas Day 2022.
His was my son. My baby. And although I only got to hold him for a short time, becoming his mum changed me forever.
Losing Felix changed our family in ways I could never have imagined. There was grief - of course. But there were also questions, experiences and moments that I didn't know how to make sense of.
What began with wanting to keep his memory alive has grown into something bigger: a space where baby loss is spoken about openly, families can find practical support, and their experiences can help drive change.
